Have you created your 'bucket-list?'
Here's my not a bucket-list........things I want to do over the next 19 years!
We recently returned to Australia’s Gold Coast after spending 7 incredible months, mainly in the UK but also travelling to Stockholm, Portugal’s Algarve region, New York and Hawaii. I did do some work with my amazing UK clients, along with the travel, experiences and time with family and friends. I also did lots of writing, finishing my first book ‘The Rocking Chair Test’ as well as blogs and other articles, some of which I will share on this platform.
One day, I was having my daily Mozart time and in my #whatwinnersdo journal I decided to start writing my ‘not a bucket-list.’ I just kept going. I avoiding over-thinking and just let my ideas and thoughts flow. Once I had finished, I left it for 24 hours and then revisited it. I scribbled out a few, added a few more and then put it into sections.
Our desired future state from the start of 2027 is to live in Australia for 6/7months a year, the UK for 2/3 and then in a different country for the remaining 3 months. First up is Spain, which is why it is listed as a separate category.
Quick question for you: Have you clarified your desired future state?
I love to share my goals for a couple of reasons. Firstly, so many people contribute their ideas, offer support and make connections to help in achieving them. Secondly, it makes me more acocuntable and brings a sharper focus. So, here is my first attempt at a list of things I want to do over the next 19 years. This will be a moving feast - I will constantly revisit and add to the list.
I found it a highly energising and fun experience.
Quick question for you: Have you done yours? (At least made a start).
I link my bucket-list to my vision-board - I love visual reminders of who I am, why I do what I do and where I want to go in life.
Quick question for you: How do you reinforce your goals (or bucket-list or desired future state)?
