This week, it’s short, sweet and to the point. One of the best challenges I was given by a coach was to ask whether I was a strong or a RUTHLESS prioritiser. He wasn’t expecting me to answer, defend or justify what was and what was not in my diary. All he wanted to do was prompt me to think about whether I was allowing a myriad of lower value items to get in and the expense of other activites that were high value and totally aligned to my goal-set.
It was a great challenge and strengthened my resolve to take total control of my calender. The other element I improved was to make sure I matched value to energy. There is no point undertaking a high value meeting or other interaction when you are too tired to be at your best!
Hence, my current challenge to you:
What's in your diary?
What should be in your diary?
What needs to come out of your diary?
With what is currently in your diary, will you have the best possible chance of delivering a goal-smashing, record breaking quarter?
What needs to be re-arranged so you can match value to energy?
Do you always put what matters most in your diary first or fit it around less important things?
What changes can you make from the 1st June to set up your diary for greater success?
For those running teams: do you help or hinder those you have the privilege to lead in this regard?
Who do great leaders do?
How do you know?
As previously stated, success is 95% systems and 5% magic! Let’s get there! 🖤🦅💛
